A new biotech research facility in Alachua, Florida has sold for $12 million. According to published reports the facility is one of four scheduled to be developed for Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation (AGTC) which has ongoing operations in the area. The facility, located in Foundation Park, encompasses roughly 43,000 sq. ft. of space and is anticipated to be a sought-after property for biopharma firms in the area looking to expand.
